Weather
Boulder Taco Fest happens rain or shine. In Colorado, afternoon showers are usually brief. Most pass within 20–30 minutes and the day stays warm. Bring a light layer just in case. You're right next to the creek if you need to cool off between showers.
Tickets
Your wristband gets you into the festival. Tickets (included with every wristband) are what you trade at vendor booths. One ticket gets you a taco or a drink (12oz beer, 12oz margarita, or NA drink). Need more? Extra tickets are $5 each, or 5 for $23, sold on-site all day.
We don't offer refunds under any circumstances, but transferring your wristband is easy. Log in to events.com, click "manage registration," and update the attendee info. Takes about a minute.
Yes. Pick up your wristband and tickets the day before, Friday 5–7pm. The pickup location is TBD and will be announced before the festival. You can even pick up for a friend if you have a photo of their ID.
Family
It's built for them. Kids under 12 get in free with an adult GA or VIP wristband. There are inflatables, two piñata smashes, and front-row views of the Lucha Libre matches. Boulder Creek is right there to cool off in.
Dogs are welcome in Boulder parks, including our grounds, but they must be leashed at all times and well-behaved. Hot asphalt and big crowds are not much fun for a pup. If you bring one, give them creek time and plenty of water.
Logistics
We're right on Boulder Creek, so wear shoes that can get wet and clothes that dry fast if you want to cool off. Shade is limited in the vendor area, so bring a hat and sunglasses too.
Yes. Free filtered water stations are set up around the festival. We don't provide cups (to cut down on waste), so bring a reusable bottle or use a cup or can from a finished drink.
Allowed: chairs, water bottles, and well-behaved leashed pets. Not allowed: weapons of any kind, outside food or drink, and smoking. Security checks bags on entry.
We're in downtown Boulder with plenty of nearby parking, plus easy access by bike or bus. It's an easy one to leave the car at home for. See the Getting There page for a map and specifics.
